We had Chinese food for dinner tonight, which I am a big fan of. I was thinking though it’s hard to find a really good restaurant. We’ve been going to the Golden Dragon in Byron for a while and it seams to be the best place. The chicken balls are a bit greasy but not too bad and I usually judge a place by the chicken fried rice. I’ve found that if the rice is good it’s a big seller for me. Comments are open on this one whats your favorite Chinese place in London?

It’s FINALLY snowing in London. Maybe if it keeps up I can get out on the SnowMobile this weekend. I would love to go skiing, as I haven’t been in ages, but I think I may wait till later in the season for a better day. What are you doing this weekend?

This weekend (Jan 19, 20 & 21) is the London Wine & Food Show at the Fair Grounds. Surprisingly I still haven’t heard any ad’s for it anywhere, I did hear about it when I was in Niagara-On-The-Lake from some of the wineries We visited. I am hoping to make it out and see some of the exibitors. If you are going the Stand Outs I would recommend are Angels Gate and Kacaba in Booth 268, Josephs Estate (208), Peele Island Wine (219) , Steam Whistle Brewery (171), and I wouldn’t miss Lailey Vineyards in 183. Lailey Vineyards, I would have to say, is probably the best winery we visited that will be at the show. If you have ever thought it would be fun to take a trip to Wine Country in Niagara but haven’t had the chance don’t miss this event!

So I was at the 51st London Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction which most people call the Sportsman’s Dinner so that’s what I’ll cal lit from now on! The event was in support of the Thames Valley Children’s Centre which is a great cause and one that is important especially to my wife.Gordie Howe was there although I didn’t get a chance to meet him or get my picture taken as the lineup for autographs was huge right up till dinner and almost as soon as the dinner was over he was gone. The keynote speaker Brian Stemmle, who was a Canadian Olympic Skier, was excellent. I hadn’t heard who he was but the speech he did was excellent. He showed a lot of crashes that he had from various places and told a story about one of them that he almost died in and how he came back and skied in, but didn’t win, the Nagano Olympics! It was a great story and very funny. Other then that it wasn’t the best Sportsman’s Dinner I’ve been to but not bad!

Following the theme of blogTO (http://blogto.com/) and other city based community blogs I have set up BlogLDN (http://blogLDN.com). I need Help! I need people who are willing to blog on this site. What I am looking for is someone in the London are who can post a couple of time a week about what is going on in and around the city and information about all the city has to offer.
